Can non-indigenous folks buy, wear, and commission weavings?

Great question! The answer is, it depends. All of our earrings are available to the greater public, as well as many of the smaller daily wear pieces. That being said, other pieces are reserved for specific status, rank, and traditional knowledge holders. If you're ever unsure, reach out and ask! It's usually handled on a case-by-case basis. 

How long does it take to complete a commission?

It depends on the size of the weaving and the complexity of the design. If you have something you would like in mind, please reach out for an estimate.
